Making somebody like you is never easy especially if you are not likeable, by this I mean somebody that is not into socialization and just wants to be alone. As an only child, I could not remember a day that I had a really good time mingling with the other kids in the neighborhood or on campus when I was a kid. In effect having girlfriends and boyfriends were not my cup of tea until I reached the age of say 8. I started reaching to other pupils in school and had fun being with them. I was also an active student, which helped me realize how important it is to mingle, make friends, and socialize. In other words, make girls and boys like you. Let’s focus on how to get a girl to like you first.

Even girls cannot make a girl like them unless they already have that certain charisma and likeable aura. Girls talking to girls will always be gossip and boys. First, if you are a girl and you want to befriend girls and eventually get girlfriends, watch your mouth. As I said girls are more into gossiping and some words from you can make or break someone’s day. In campus, let’s say sororities, these girls will just do anything to make you feel sorry. Just be yourself. Do not change just to please other girls and to have girlfriends. Eventually these girls will soon find out the real you. If change would also mean from bad to good, then that is acceptable unless the other way around. Just be you and let them like the real you.

Meanwhile boys, on the other hand, also need tactics to get a girl. It is not easy to attract girls especially when you are considered a geek and naïve in the world of flirting and attraction. Even so there is more than one way to skin a cat; there are ways to capture a girl’s attention and eventually make that girl stick with you.

Gather all the confidence that you have. A girl would never know if you like her or not unless you show signs or tell it to her in the most romantic way that you have in mind. Also the girl can sense if you are not confident with what you are saying and doing. In effect, lack of confidence would lead to worrying. You must remember that the more you worry the more it gets obvious that you have memorized your lines or that you have changed your hairstyle gazillion times just to impress. Furthermore, panicking would do you no good. It actually wakes butterflies in your stomach or worse, goose bumps – that would be a totally horrible experience. Investigate your girl’s likes and dislikes. This way you can tell what to do and what to say to her. Furthermore you can also have ideas as to which type of gift can please her. You can also surprise her a lot when you already have a lot of knowledge about her. Read this – girls love surprises. Surprises tickle a girl’s heart. A little investigation wouldn’t hurt unless you go too far. Also, befriending her friends and family is a great bonus. If her family likes you, they will sometimes act as bridges. Befriending her friends can also give you an idea of what your desired girl truly is. Always remember that birds of a feather flock together. Change for the better. There is always something in us that will never make us 100% perfect but at least trying to be wouldn’t hurt. Just make sure that you leave something for yourself too. On the other hand, do not make the change just to please her. It is not that I am pessimistic but telling all the possible things that could happen just gives us a sense of direction. There will always be times that even if you change 180% for a girl you can still never make too sure that she won’t dump you. Data shows that boys who have become pets of their girlfriends or have become robots of their crushes have been broken hearted many times. Guys, play hard to get sometimes. It doesn’t mean that because you are the man, you cannot play the role of the one being pleaded. Let girls plead sometimes. Sometimes it is not the physical appearance of a guy that makes girls swoon but it is also how they handle themselves. In effect the way you handle the courtship or the relationship depends on how you add spice to it. Lastly but never ever the least, always make sure you look fresh and clean and of course you smell nice. Even if you have those remarkable eyes and body like Zac Efron but your pits stink and have hair going here and there, you spell gross and you are oh so dumped.  And of course it is advisable to be good always but it is also essential to be naughty at times. It actually makes the relationship more exciting if you add a touch of angelic evil in it. Therefore, it is not always about the appearance that matters. Just think of Stephen Hawking and Bill Gates. They are no George Clooney, but they have all the world’s attention on them.

A lot of my girlfriends have broken up with their exes because their guys simply cannot leave them alone and it is like gripping their neck.
